MyBag India is a social enterprise that takes up the challenge of making a difference in our environment by offering better alternatives to plastic bags. We have been working with Kanpur Ploggers, an NGO working towards freeing Kanpur City from the perils of Single-use plastic affecting the nature and us humans as well. They do it by conducting weekly cleaning drives at the banks of river Ganga all over Kanpur in collaboration with Kanpur Nagar Nigam and collecting plastic waste from homes and commercial spaces to get them recycled into useful products from the right channels.
MyBag India has collaborated with Kanpur Ploggers in Project Sankalp by manufacturing cloth bags made from old curtains and bed sheets and distributing unlimited supplies of them at homes and commercial spaces for free to stop the usage of plastic bags completely from there.
MyBag will keep on taking any means necessary to bring change to our broken society where millions of people are still carrying single-use plastic bags while they can carry reusable cloth ones which are not only biodegradable but also eco-friendly.
